Dear member,
This email newsletter from the Centre for Information Technology and Gandhian Phiolosophy on Non-violence and Peace is for your reading in the beta mode. It is still under construction and hopes to become fully functional in near future. Until then, I request you to keep the utmost patience and expect the co-operation in continuing to receive and benefit out of this organization. This e-newsletter slated to be made available in the hands of thousands of members like you in the form of email but, due to economic and technological conditions, the delay is experienced now.
In the mean time, I have some positive news also for you. With much passion and zeal, I have opened up a new office for the Centre for Information Technology and Gandhian Philosophy on Non-violence and Peace that serves in the field of computer education and spreading Gandhian messages across the country. Actually, this is much of a streamlined outcome of the operations and efforts I have been doing for more than a decade in the IT field and Gandhian research. This centre would function as a non-profit organization and focus on improving computer literacy and promoting Gandhian ideals in the society.
This Indepence Day, 15th of August, a new office has been opened at a small town 'Mettur', in Salem District of Tamilnadu, the southern most state of India. The centre is also functional at Chennai, the capital city of the state.
During the month of August, a group of students studying 6th to 10th std has undergone a free, basic course on computer operations at the centre.
During the month of September, a wide call has been made for undertaking a pledge on Non-violence and Peace in view of Gandhi Jeyanthi celebrations. A letter accompanying the Pledge in English and Tamil has been sent to all the Higher Secondary and Matriculation schools in Mettur Taluk.
In the coming months, our operations would be much more seamless and smoother and our member relations and communications would be more quicker than now. Kindly do the registration if not you are not done yet and feel free to visit this site frequently to know the updates.
Thanking you with love,
Balamurali Balaji,
